Halloween Magic

The weather has finally turned chilly and we are feeling festive over here at the Maple Leaf Foundation. In fact, a very mysterious thing happened in the backyard of “Chris’ House” this last weekend! A pumpkin patch appeared! You know what they say, “If you can’t take a child to the pumpkin patch…take the pumpkin patch to the child!” ;-) The yard has never looked better! Sienna deserves all of those pumpkins this year!

We’ve also seen some handsome looking warriors popping up in unexpected places! Meet Tiberius, a 6-year-old from Alaska (aka Link, from Legends of Zelda), who is the newest resident of “The Monda House.” His mom says “Tiberius loves it here. He’s very happy to have someplace he can run around and be noisy. We are so thankful for this opportunity.”

Maple Leaf Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Your donations go directly to funding affordable, nurturing, child centered housing for families who must relocate to Seattle for pediatric cancer and cardiac care at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
